Focusing on New Opportunities for Global Expansion and Exploring New Paths for Compliance

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Xu Lie, Chairman of the Food and Pharmaceutical International Cooperation and Trade Branch, stated in his speech that Chinese enterprises are currently facing increasingly stringent trade barriers and compliance requirements in the process of expanding overseas, while many companies still lack sufficient understanding of overseas market access regulations.

During the keynote presentation titled "How Chinese Enterprises Can Succeed in Cross-border E-commerce," overseas independent website marketing expert Mr. Xie Xiaoxiang emphasized that companies must upgrade from simply "selling products" to "operating overseas markets."

Nguyen Vu Quan, an expert from the Wuxi Platform of the National Overseas Intellectual Property Dispute Response Guidance Center, also shared his insights in the policy interpretation session "The Evolution of Vietnam's Trademark Landscape," reminding Chinese enterprises of the importance of intellectual property compliance when expanding internationally.

Embassy Business Promotion Session

Mr. Louis Uyi Idehen, Assistant to the Ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of Uganda in China; Mr. Vincent Ibonye, Research Fellow at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs; and Ms. Bai Jie, former Procurement Officer of the World Food Programme China Office, introduced three key topics:

Environmental infrastructure investment plans and green procurement demand in their respective countries;

Market access policies and compliance requirements for Chinese enterprises;

Key areas for cooperation and trade opportunities.

TAIYUAN E.P.: Promoting Project Feasibility Through Modular Prefabricated Technology

During the exchange session, representatives of TAIYUAN E.P. systematically introduced the company's more than 20 years of experience in the field of water environmental treatment.

As a national high-tech enterprise integrating environmental technology research and development, modular prefabricated water treatment system development, manufacturing, and application, as well as a national-level Specialized and Sophisticated "Little Giant" enterprise, TAIYUAN E.P. has always adhered to innovation-driven development.

In 2015, the company independently developed the TIMP Modular Prefabricated Wastewater & Water Treatment Plant, which revolutionized the traditional non-standard reinforced concrete construction model through industrialized intelligent manufacturing. This innovation significantly reduces uncertainties during on-site construction and helps customers overcome uncontrollable project risks.

The technology applies the principles of LEGO-like universal modular assembly and non-destructive disassembly and reassembly. Through simulation-based modeling and design, more than ten standardized stainless steel modules with different functions are assembled into an integrated system, realizing "engineering equipmentization, equipment modularization, module standardization, and standardized assembly." The technology has been repeatedly recognized by the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and the China Association of Environmental Protection Industry as reaching an internationally advanced level, filling the technological gap in the large-scale application of prefabricated water treatment systems in the environmental protection industry. Its core equipment has been included in the Catalogue of Major Environmental Protection Technical Equipment Encouraged by the State, listed among Jiangsu Province's First (Set) Major Technical Equipment, and awarded the First Prize of the Environmental Protection Equipment Science and Technology Award.

Proven by Performance: Technology Leadership Beyond Words

The TIMP Modular Prefabricated Wastewater & Water Treatment Plant developed by TAIYUAN E.P. has demonstrated remarkable comprehensive advantages in practical applications. It offers a service life of more than 50 years, reduces land occupation by 60%, cuts energy consumption and carbon emissions by 75.4%, shortens construction periods by approximately 80%, reduces the "three wastes" generated during eco-friendly construction by 90%, and achieves a 100% reuse rate for its modular steel structures. By adopting specially designed flow-enhancing structures, proprietary water distribution, aeration and sludge discharge methods, as well as high-performance microbial agents, the system improves treatment efficiency while reducing operational energy consumption by more than 20%.

To date, TAIYUAN E.P. has completed projects in more than one hundred cities across China, including over 20 modular prefabricated wastewater (water) treatment plants with capacities exceeding 10,000 m³/day, and has constructed China's largest steel-structured modular prefabricated wastewater treatment plant.

Global Expansion: From Chinese Standards to the World Stage

When introducing the company's overseas strategy, the representative of TAIYUAN E.P. noted that the company has planned its products with an international vision since the very beginning of technology development. The TIMP system has not only passed international novelty searches but has also gained recognition in overseas markets and has been applied in regions including the Middle East and Africa.

Meanwhile, TAIYUAN E.P. has actively led and participated in the development of more than ten local and industry standards. The company has also taken part in a number of key research and special R&D projects organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology. In addition, its technologies have been included in the Catalogue of Advanced, Mature and Applicable Water-Saving Technologies and Equipment issued by the Ministry of Water Resources, with its technologies and products continuously aligning with international standards.

The representative of TAIYUAN E.P. stated that participating in the "Wuxi Enterprises Going Global" event aims to gain a deeper understanding of environmental protection needs and market access compliance requirements in emerging markets such as Africa and Southeast Asia, while strengthening the company's capabilities in overseas market operations and intellectual property protection as part of its global expansion strategy.

Looking ahead, TAIYUAN E.P. will continue to pursue the development of high-end, intelligent, and green equipment, accelerate its expansion into overseas markets, promote China's modular prefabricated water treatment technology to the world, and contribute Chinese solutions to global water environmental governance.

Why Modular Plants Are Particularly Suitable for Regions with High Infrastructure Costs

Regions with underdeveloped infrastructure are often the places that need water treatment plants the most, yet they are also the most difficult places in which to build them.

The traditional construction model depends almost entirely on local conditions—including design capabilities, construction teams, maintenance conditions, and workers' technical skills. Every one of these elements is indispensable. If any one of them falls short, the entire project can quickly become stalled.

Since 2015, TAIYUAN E.P. has been committed to one thing: moving construction into the factory. The TIMP Modular Prefabricated Wastewater & Water Treatment Plant breaks a water treatment plant down into standardized modules, which are prefabricated in a controlled factory environment and then transported to the project site for assembly.

The core manufacturing process is no longer constrained by local construction conditions. Small water treatment plants can be completed through transportation and lifting alone, while large-scale plants require only on-site assembly.

For emerging markets, this creates a decisive advantage—using the certainty of industrialized manufacturing to offset the uncertainties of local infrastructure.

We are more than an equipment supplier. From design and prefabrication to integrated installation and operational performance assurance, TAIYUAN E.P. provides a complete turnkey solution. There is no need for you to coordinate, negotiate, or assume responsibility among multiple suppliers.
